This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Migsam Safaris (“the Company processes refunds for our safari and tour packages. By booking a trip with us, you agree to the terms of this policy. We are committed to providing exceptional experiences and to a transparent, fair approach to handling cancellations and refunds.
2. General Refund Principles
• All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email to info@migsamsafaris.com
• Refund eligibility is determined by the date we receive the written cancellation request.
• The refund amount, if any, will be calculated based on the cancellation schedule outlined in Section 3.
• All refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the refund request being approved.
• Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
3. Cancellation and Refund Schedule
In the event of a client-initiated cancellation, the following refund schedule will apply:
• 120 days or more before departure: 75% refund of the total tour price.
• 60 – 119 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour price.
• 30 – 59 days before departure: 25% refund of the total tour price.
• Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.

confirm your booking and is forfeited upon any cancellation. This amount covers administrative and reservation costs.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount:
• Booking deposits.
• International and domestic flight costs.
• Accommodation fees or other services secured with third-party providers with non-refundable policies.
• Bank, credit card, or transaction fees incurred during payment processing.
• Any unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to no-shows or early departures.
5. Amendments to a Booking
If you wish to amend your booking (e.g., change the dates or itinerary), please submit a written request. While we will do our best to accommodate these changes, they are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Any changes made will be treated as a new booking and may require a new deposit.
6. Cancellation by the Company
While highly unlikely, Migsam Safaris reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, political instability, or other events that make the safari unsafe or impossible to operate. In such a rare event, we will offer one of the following options:
• A full refund of all monies paid.
• The option to reschedule the tour to a later date at no additional charge.
• A travel credit for future use, valid for 12 months.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and loss or damage to personal belongings. This will provide financial protection in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.
