DAY 1

Arrival – Gateway to the Wild

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha.

The remainder of the day is at leisure. Relax in the gardens, refresh after your flight, and gather with your fellow travelers for a short safari briefing. The air feels different here. Anticipation builds as the journey begins.

Overnight: Midrange Lodge in Arusha

DAY 2

Baobabs & Giants – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, a park known for its towering baobabs and impressive elephant gatherings.

The Tarangire River becomes a lifeline during the dry months, attracting wildlife in remarkable numbers. Watch as herds converge, predators linger in the shade, and giraffes move gracefully across the landscape.

By late afternoon, continue toward the highlands for your overnight stay.

Overnight: Midrange Lodge in Karatu / Ngorongoro Highlands

DAY 3

The Endless Plains – Serengeti National Park

Today, journey into the Serengeti, where the horizon seems endless, and the earth hums with movement.

As you enter migration territory (the Northern Serengeti), your first game drive reveals sweeping plains scattered with wildebeest and zebra, and trailing predators.

The scale is humbling. The silence between moments feels electric.

Overnight: Midrange Tented Camp in Serengeti

DAY 4

Serengeti – Following the Herds

Rise early for a full day dedicated to tracking the migration. Your guide adjusts routes based on herd movements to ensure the best possible wildlife encounters.

You may witness river crossings or dramatic predator interactions. Each day in the Serengeti writes its own story.

Lunch is enjoyed in the bush, surrounded by open skies and uninterrupted wilderness.

Overnight: Midrange Tented Camp in Serengeti

DAY 5

Serengeti – Depth of the Wild

Another day unfolds across the migration landscape. With time on your side, you explore less-traveled tracks, kopje formations, and riverine forests.

Beyond the herds, discover cheetahs scanning the plains, elephants carving quiet paths, and hyenas shadowing the movement.

As the sun sets, gather with your group to relive the day’s unforgettable sightings.

Overnight: Midrange Tented Camp in Serengeti

DAY 6

Natural Amphitheater – Ngorongoro Crater

Depart the Serengeti and ascend into the Ngorongoro Highlands before descending into the crater, an enclosed world where wildlife thrives in extraordinary concentration.

Here, you may encounter lions, buffalo, zebra, elephants, and possibly the rare black rhino. The crater floor offers one of the most intimate wildlife experiences in Africa.

Return to the highlands in the late afternoon.

Overnight: Midrange Lodge in Karatu

DAY 7

Departure – Farewell to the Plains

After breakfast, transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
