Movement Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha about 1 to 1.5 hours
A private driver welcomes you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfers you to Arusha. Rest, dine and review the safari details with the Migsam team. Luggage that is not needed in the bush can be stored before the light-aircraft flight.
Your first day is reserved for a calm welcome and practical preparation. The transfer is private, so a delayed flight or slower immigration process does not place you under pressure. Once checked in, there is time to shower, rest and settle before meeting the safari representative.
The briefing covers the route, expected road conditions, meal preferences, park-entry timing and the best way to organise luggage for the safari vehicle or bush flight. This preparation makes the next morning smoother and protects the first wildlife day from avoidable delays.
