Movement Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha about 1 to 1.5 hours
Meet the private transfer and continue to Arusha. Settle into the hotel and review the journey with the safari host. The first evening is kept open for rest, spa time or dinner rather than attaching an activity to an uncertain arrival hour.
The arrival day is deliberately kept light. After the airport formalities and luggage collection, the transfer team assists with the vehicle and the drive to the hotel. This gives you time to recover from the international journey instead of starting the safari tired.
At the hotel, the guide reviews tomorrow’s departure time, luggage arrangement, dietary requests and any optional activities already confirmed. The evening is free for dinner and rest, with no wildlife programme forced into the arrival schedule.

Movement Arusha to Tarangire about 2 to 2.5 hours
Travel by private vehicle to Tarangire and begin a game drive before lunch. Explore river bends, baobab woodland and quieter side tracks at a measured pace. A hot lunch or carefully prepared picnic is arranged according to lodge location. Finish with a late-afternoon drive and a sundowner in an authorised setting.
