Movement Ngorongoro highlands to Arusha about 3 to 3.5 hours; flight about 1 hour 15 minutes
Enjoy a measured departure from the highlands and drive back to Arusha, with a stop for lunch or local shopping if the flight time permits. Continue to Arusha Airport for the confirmed service to Zanzibar. The day remains intentionally light after three wildlife-intensive days and avoids adding a rushed third park.
The flight schedule sets the structure of the day. The guide confirms the airstrip, check-in requirement and possible en-route stops, then plans the morning so the journey remains relaxed and punctual.
After arrival on the island, the road transfer varies by the chosen coast and traffic. No additional excursion is placed on the same day unless the flight arrives early and the guest has specifically requested it.
