A DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town.
After check-in and some time to relax, meet your local guide in the afternoon for a fascinating Stone Town City Tour.
Walk through the historic streets and discover Zanzibar’s rich cultural heritage, architecture and centuries-old trading history. Visit important landmarks including the former slave market site, the Anglican Cathedral, the local market, Zanzibar Memorial Museum and the iconic House of Wonders.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
After breakfast, set out for Prison Island, located just off the coast of Stone Town.
Explore the island’s historic architecture and discover its famous residents — the Aldabra giant tortoises. Learn about the island’s fascinating past while enjoying views across the surrounding Indian Ocean.
After some free time for lunch, continue to one of Zanzibar’s traditional spice farms.
Walk through the plantations and discover the aromas, flavours and stories behind some of the island’s most famous spices, including cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and other tropical plants.
Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening in Stone Town.
After breakfast, check out from your Stone Town hotel and begin your journey towards the quieter eastern coast of Zanzibar.
Arrive at your beachfront resort in Uroa, check in and settle into your new surroundings.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy. Relax beside the Indian Ocean, take a swim, stroll along the beach or simply unwind at the resort.

As evening approaches, return to the resort for dinner and another peaceful night beside the coast.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward journey.
